Angela Lansbury's known favorite perfume: Samsara by Guerlain
Why we love Samsara Eau de Parfum
Samsara, the “Perfume of Harmony,” is the world’s first woody and oriental perfume for women. Inspired by the woman in his life, Jean-Paul Guerlain travelled tirelessly to India to find the most revered sandalwood and jasmine, and ultimately created a scent that smells like the Orient itself. Its luscious, full-bodied fragrance is sensual, bold, and eternally glamorous.
Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III inspired the bottle’s design, and emblazoned it with the Empire’s symbol, the bee. Guerlain was so taken that he adopted the bee as the icon for La Maison Guerlain.
The brand describes it as the “elixir of seduction.”
Top notes: green notes, peach, ylang-ylang, lemon and bergamot; middle notes: iris, violot, orris, jasmine, rose; base notes: iris, sandlwood, Tonka bean, vanilla, musk and amber.

Projection
Heavy Projection: Radiates outward at least 6 feet. Your perfume is considered strong, so be extra careful and apply with a light hand. Wearing too much perfume will cause it to linger long after you’ve left, or worse yet, they’ll catch your whiff even before you enter the room!.
Longevity
Very Long Lasting: Lasts more than 12 hours. Expect your perfume to most of the day. Due to its extreme strength, very few re-applications (if any) are required throughout the day. Recommend only using the lightest touch-ups, with roll-on fragrance or scented hand cream.
