Beverly Johnson's known favorite perfume: Chanel No. 5
Why we love Chanel No. 5
The diva herself, Gabrielle Chanel, was determined to create the world’s most sensual perfume, designed to celebrate women: “A woman’s perfume, with the scent of a woman.” And thus, was born the celebrated classic, Chanel No. 5.
The brand describes it as, “A daring fragrance, an opulent, abstract, mysterious bouquet with no dominant notes. A radical change with the unprecedented use of aldehydes, exalting molecules.”
The details were exact, even down to the design of the bottle itself. The simple bottle focuses the eye on the fragrance contained within; the stopper was inspired by the Place Vendome in Paris, and is shaped like the world’s finest diamond. The result? Pure confidence and joy.
If you love Chanel No. 5, you might also like Beverly Johnson’s other faves: Bulgari and Paris YSL.
Moderate Projection: Fragrance radiates outward 3 to 4 feet. Anyone standing within your “space bubble” will smell your perfume. If you walk past someone, your breeze will create a scent trail that lingers when you leave.
Long Lasting Longevity: 7 hours to 12 hours. Expect your fragrance to last throughout the day. The quickest way to extend the scent is to bring along a travel-size roll-on, solid, or hand lotion.
