Lindsay Dee Lohan is an American actress, singer, songwriter and businesswoman who was born July 2, 1986 in New York City. Her parents are Dina and Michael Lohan. Lindsay has five siblings. Her career started as a model at age three. She was signed to the Ford modeling agency, where she appeared in more than sixty television commercials.  Her big break came on the television soap opera Another World.  After that, Oscar-nominated screenwriter Nancy Meyers selected Lindsay to play twin sisters in a remake of the film, The Parent Trap (1998).
