Ryan started his career when he was nineteen in the Canadian teen soap opera, Hillside. After the series ended, he roles in moderately successful television programs and movies. His big break came when he was cast as the lead character in Deadpool.  He received great acclaim and recognition, including nominations for a Golden Globe and Critic’s Choice Movie Award. The film went on to earn more than $783 million worldwide. This made Ryan Reynolds one of the most easily recognized stars at the time.
